Ready for Cowes Week 2007?

Cowes Week is almost upon us - 4th to the 11th August 2007 - and the excitement is building here at Solent Sea Ventures!

Everyone is getting organised for what promises to be a fantastic Cowes week, whatever the weather throws at us, whether you are taking part, supporting or enjoying the spectacle!

How can we make Cowes Week special for you?

For our part we decided NOT to put our prices up for Cowes Week. That's right - our powerful 12 person RIBs and our Sealine Statesman 45ft luxury motor cruiser can be chartered for all your enertainment & support needs at exactly THE SAME RATES AS NORMAL.

To find out more just call me, Curt, on 07887 77858 and I'll get back to you if I'm out on the water. Alternatively call the office on 02392 464018 or email me info@solentseaventures.co.uk and we'll answer you enquiry ASAP.

This year we have our powerful 12 seater RIBs available for skippered charter during Cowes week 2007 - but contact us soon, because this is a very busy time of year and whilst we always try to accommodate people at short notice I know how frustrating it can be when you need to get a boat organised at the last moment.

We are keeping our RIB charter prices at our NORMAL RATES this year, so take advantage and contact us now before the slots are filled!

Imagine enjoying the finest in corporate hospitality on board your own private luxury curiser. The atmosphere is relaxed , the environment is unique and there is no more impressive way to take in the colour and spectacle of the Cowes Week yacht racing. You, your clients or your staff are going to have a truly wonderful day.

We have a fabulous Sealine Statesman 45ft luxury motor cruiser (take a look at it here) that can be yours for the day, but contact us soon or you'll miss out. There is no better way to celebrate or reward your clients or staff for their loyalty than to treat them to a spectacular day on the sea during Cowes Week 2007.  We always enjoy these days - we like to see the smiles and hear the laughter knowing we are helping to make your day effortless and successful.

Well I must go and get on with the preparations. See you on the water!

New Solent Sea School Website

We're really excited that we've just launched two sister websites to showcase our principle activities in more detail.

We've been providing corporate days out for companies who want to reward their staff, build staff morale or just want to arrange a great away day, for some time. Hopefully you'll agree that www.solentcorporateventures.co.uk  give a better idea of the kind of packages we put together and the sort of incredible day you can organise by calling us.

In the meantime our Solent Sea School has got off to a very busy start this season and we decided to dedicate an entire website to our RYA training courses. Take a look at www.solentseaschool.co.uk if you are thinking of taking any type of powerboat training on the Solent.

A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL

As I mentioned in the last blog we are now the proud owners of a 45ft Sealine Statesman 450 which is currently being prepared for coding with the MCA.

This will allow us to charter the vessel and use it for RYA tuition. We expect this to be completed during the month of Febuary 2007 and therefore available for the start of the season.
We are currently waiting for a break in the weather so we can do a professional photo shoot, the pics of which will be published on our website.

The Rib is now prepared and ready for the start of our RYA Powerboat Courses which commence in February. Any body interested in Learning to Powerboat or Motor Cruise can find details on our Website www.solentseaventures.co.uk

The weather remains pretty grim for boating at the moment so I think we are all better on terra firma.

This blogg will be updated regularly through the season. I hope you enjoy reading it.

Keep Safe

Good Afternoon All

The past week has ben a busy one, not with the schooling but with the Rib Charter.

The week was broken up into four seperate charter jobs. The first was a Treasure hunt involving 6 ribs, mine being one of them.

The second cahrter was one of the biggest ever held. Over 35 Ribs were involved with the Nat West Treasure hunt challenge. Imagine the spectacle of 35 high Powered ribs steaming out into the solent waters at speeds in excess of 40mph.

The treasure hunt took in Yarmouth, Lymington, Cowes, Portsmouth and Gunwharf Quays.

Anybody interested in booking a treasure hunt can contact us on 07887 778584, asking for Curt or info@solentseaventures.co.uk or visit our web site www.solentseaventures.co.uk

My final 2 days of the week were involved with the little Britain event at Cowes. This event involves many companies from the construction industry who get together to pit their skills on the water.

My ribeye rib acted as support vessel for a 40.7 Beneteau Yacht which was actively involved in the racing.

A great week on the water!!

Regards

Curt
