For all our team building events and Solent based RIB charters we use only the top of the range 7 metre plus RIB craft. All our Solent based RIB hire fleet are fitted out to the highest standards for safety and comfort at sea and all our RIBs are Maritime Coastguard Agency Coded and are skippered by fully qualified and commercially endorsed skippers.

Powered by at least 200 Horse Power outboard engines these rigid inflatable boats (RIBs) are all capable of high speeds and their handling and manoeuvring capability is second to none, ensuring a spectacular unforgettable ride for you!!

Each RIB can carry at least 8 persons, so this is an experience to share with your friends and colleagues for your team building event.

Welcome to Solent Sea Ventures.

Our, Rib Charter Division is based in Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth at the very heart of the Solent Waters.

We pride ourselves on understanding the client's needs and providing a day to remember.

We employ skippers who also understand and share in the excitement of the day. They, as one, are very experienced and knowledgeable of the Solent and will ensure above all else your safety and enjoyment.

The Rib Charter team specialise in event management incorporating team building and staff development as part of the service. Many will arrive strangers and leave friends after the experience of a lifetime for most.

The Ribs, often referred to as the 4 x 4 of the sea are capable of amazing speeds with the ability to handle all sea states with ease.

Rib Charter Events may take the form of Treasure Hunts, a particular favourite of many, site seeing, exploration, pub hopping or searching out a secluded beach.

We cater for large company Groups but will provide an equally professional service for the individual or family.
